Competitive Dance

Our recreational dance and cheer program offers children and teens ages 2 to 18 a fun, non-competitive way to stay active, express themselves, and build friendships in a supportive and creative environment. With high-quality training in styles like tap, lyrical, jazz, ballet, hip hop, acro, and cheer, this program is ideal for those who love to dance and cheer without the pressure of competition.

Classes

Acro

Our Acro Dance classes blend classical dance with acrobatic elements, focusing on strength, balance, & flexibility. Dancers learn skills such as elbow stands, head stands, walkovers, aerials, & beginner contortion poses. Unlike tumbling, which emphasizes power & speed typically seen in cheer / gymnastics, acro integrates slow, controlled movements into dance choreography. Students safely progress through technique-based training while improving coordination, body awareness, & confidence.

Ballet

Our Ballet classes offer a structured & supportive environment where students are introduced to the fundamentals of ballet. As the foundation of all dance, ballet teaches essential elements such as posture, balance, flexibility & control.

Ballet instills valuable life skills & responsibility by coming prepared, respecting their instructors & peers, & staying committed to their personal growth. 

This class nurtures both technique & character development in a fun, encouraging atmosphere.

Cheer

Our Cheer classes are a dynamic and engaging introduction to the world of cheerleading, covering all four core components: Tumbling, Jumps, Stunts, and Cheer Dance. This high-energy class not only introduces students to the athletic aspects of cheerleading but also promotes teamwork, leadership, self-confidence, and discipline. Whether your child is new to cheer or looking to build a solid foundation for future school / competitive cheer, this class is packed with learning and lots of fun!

Contemporary

Our Contemporary classes encourage expressive, abstract movement through technique, creativity, and emotion. Dancers explore floor work, improvisation, and dynamic phrases blending ballet and jazz styles. Both contemporary and lyrical portray storylines, but lyrical is more ballet-based with flowing, graceful movements, while contemporary is freer and more abstract, emphasizing grounded, unconventional shapes and musicality. This class nurtures personal style and artistic growth.

Contortion

Our Contortion classes focus on building extreme flexibility, strength & control in a safe & supportive environment. Dancers work on deep backbends, splits, shoulder flexibility, & strength-based holds through proper warm-ups and progressions. This class emphasizes technique and body awareness to help students safely expand their range of motion. Ideal for dancers and performers looking to enhance their flexibility and explore advanced movement skills while building confidence and body control.

Hip Hop

Our Hip Hop classes are high-energy, expressive, and full of personal style. Unlike structured genres like ballet or jazz, hip hop is rooted in street dance culture and emphasizes freestyle, musicality, and individuality. Dancers explore levels, sharp precision, intricate footwork, and freestyle skills while learning foundational grooves and choreography. Set to age-appropriate music, this class builds rhythm, coordination, and confidence.

Jazz

Our Jazz classes are upbeat, technical, and full of energy! Dancers learn jazz fundamentals such as kicks, turns, leaps, and stylized movement while building strength, flexibility, and coordination. Set to age-appropriate, high-energy music, the class blends classic and modern jazz styles. Jazz focuses on sharp, clean lines and dynamic movement, offering dancers a strong foundation for many other styles. This fun, fast-paced class boosts confidence, musicality, and performance skills.

Leaps & Tricks

Our Leaps & Tricks classes focus strictly on technique, helping dancers build strength, flexibility, and control. Dancers work on a variety of leaps such as calypsos, surprise leaps, switch leaps, chaine leaps, stag leaps, and more. The class also includes various leg extensions and connecting acro & turn elements that build into advanced variations. Each skill is broken down to improve alignment, height, and precision. With no choreography, the focus is on clean execution and strong technique.

Lyrical

Our Lyrical classes focus on graceful, flowing movements that require strong ballet technique. Dancers develop posture, alignment, & precise footwork essential for the elegant lines of lyrical. Rooted in classical ballet, lyrical blends technical precision with emotional expression. Both lyrical & contemporary portray storylines, but lyrical emphasizes ballet-based technique & fluidity, while contemporary explores abstract, grounded movements. This class builds technique, artistry, & confidence.

Musical Theater

Our Musical Theater classes combine jazz technique with theatrical performance to bring characters and stories to life through movement. Dancers learn choreography inspired by Broadway-style musicals while building stage presence, expression, and confidence. The class focuses on storytelling through dance, character work, and strong jazz fundamentals. Set to age-appropriate musical numbers, students explore timing, acting, and style in a fun, supportive environment. 

Pom

Our Pom classes combine sharp, synchronized movements with vibrant pom routines that boost rhythm, coordination, and team spirit. Dancers learn dynamic choreography featuring high-energy arm motions, kicks, jumps, and formations often seen in cheer and dance teams. This class emphasizes precision, timing, and performance skills while encouraging confidence and self-expression. Set to upbeat music, Pom is a fun, energetic way for students to develop strength, agility, and showmanship.

Strength & Conditioning

Our Strength & Conditioning classes are specially designed to enhance dancers’ power, endurance, & reduce risk of injury. Through targeted exercises focusing on core strength, balance & muscular control, dancers improve their technique & overall performance. This class helps build stamina, increase agility, & support healthy alignment, allowing dancers to execute movements with greater ease & promote long-term physical health. This class prepares dancers to meet the demands of any dance style.

Stretch & Turns

Our Stretch & Turns classes begin with targeted stretching & flexibility exercises to improve strength, balance, & range of motion. The turning portion focuses on mastering skills from beginner pirouettes to advanced a la secondes, & multiple turn variations. Finally, students combine their flexibility and turn technique to work on leg hold turns, turning illusions & turning scorpians. This class builds confidence, precision, & body awareness by developing both flexibility & turning technique.

Stunt

Our Stunt classes introduce students to the fundamentals of cheer stunts in a safe & supportive environment. Students learn proper technique for basing, flying & spotting, while building trust, strength & teamwork. Students will work on body positions, mounts & basic stunt sequences appropriate for their level. This class focuses on safety, communication, & confidence, helping students develop the skills needed to perform clean, controlled stunts with proper technique & group coordination.

Tap

Our Tap classes teach rhythm, timing, and coordination through fun, percussive footwork. Dancers learn fundamental steps like shuffles, flaps, and time steps, progressing into rhythmic combinations that build musicality and control. Tap improves listening skills and enhances overall dance technique in a lively, engaging way. Students should wear traditional tap shoes with metal toe and heel plates to create clear sounds and support proper form throughout class.

Tumbling

Our Tumbling classes focus on strength, power, and technique as students learn skills like rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, and handsprings. Tumbling is commonly used in gymnastics and cheer, emphasizing explosive, fast-paced skills performed across the floor. Unlike acro, which blends tricks into dance choreography, tumbling trains athletes to master clean, powerful movements. This high-energy class builds flexibility, coordination, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
